The event was organized by Korea CEO Summit (KCS), Ho Chi MinhCity Union of Business Association, and Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (1992 – 2023). The forum is an opportunity for leaders, experts and businesses from Korea and Vietnam to share experiences and ideas about building smart cities with cultural values, converging in Ho Chi Minh City.

Attending the Forum, Mr. Kwon Young-Geol, Chairman of the Korea National Architectural Policy Committee, said: “Ho Chi Minh City has a high population growth rate, with thousands of people from other localities every year, it also has the ability to integrate and adapt to different cultures. Identifying this as the strength, Ho Chi Minh City has the ability to become the creative city of Vietnam and Asia. Therefore, we have to make strategies and plans to build urban alliances, take advantage of good  relations to build urban associations, and have a strategy of “Designing Vietnam” based on existing infrastructure and development experience which has been enhanced in recent years. Vietnam has all the ability to do this and I expect the big cities of Vietnam will have spectacular changes.”
